AND AN EVENING OF VARIED VOICES ON UKRAINIAN IDENTITY
3, 417 television channels and nothing to watch on a Saturday night! Time for something different!
Oseredok is pleased to invite one and all to an evening of poetry and discussion Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 7:00 pm at 184 Alexander Ave. East.
Erin Moure, winner of the 1988 Governor General's Award for poetry, will present selected readings from her new collection of poems - The Unmemntionable. (Yes, you may ask her about the spelling!) The book will be available for purchase at Oseredok Boutique.
Poets Alison Calder and Maurice Mierau, and filmmaker John Paskievich will also present their work, followed by an open discussion on issues related to Ukrainian identity and experience in poetry and film.
Become enlightened! Become part of the discussion! Have a little coffee! Everyone is welcome!
AND THE WINNER IS.......
